Appointment Preparation
To ensure that your tax filing is completed within the scheduled time, please carefully follow the instructions provided in your confirmation email and come prepared for your appointment.
Deposit Requirements
Each booking necessitates a deposit, which will be applied towards consultation fees or tax return preparation charges. Please note that deposits are non-refundable if you fail to connect at the scheduled time or if the booking is canceled within 24 hours of the appointment. Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a 'no-show'.

Important Reminders
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) cross-references information returns/forms with the amounts reported on tax returns. A negligence penalty may be assessed for underreported income or overstated deductions. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure all information returns reflecting amounts reported to the IRS are included with your organizer. These documents typically arrive in envelopes marked “IMPORTANT TAX DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED.”

If you suspect that you might be missing some tax forms, you can download a Wage & Income transcript from the IRS Website. This transcript lists all income reported under your SSN.
Additional Information for New Clients
If you are a new client, please also provide your previous year’s tax return.
Document Submission
We are environmentally conscious and encourage you to avoid printing electronic documents. Please upload your documents to us via email at oklemcpa@gmail.com. Alternatively, you may bring your documents in electronic format to your appointment.
Extension and Payment Information
If an extension of time is required, any tax due must be paid with the extension request. Taxes not paid by the filing deadline may incur late payment penalties and interest.
